CROWDS of Sudanese protesters gathered in parts of the capital and other Sudanese cities, on the third anniversary of Omar al-Bashir's ouster to protest the prospect of renewed military rule. SUDANESE security forces fired tear gas at crowds who massed in Khartoum to rally against military rule and mark the third anniversary of the killing of scores of protesters.
